Marshall University has many scholarships based on a variety of criteria including academic achievement, financial need, program of study, extracurricular activities and community service. Our scholarships are made available through institutional funds and generous support of private donors who support Marshall University’s commitment to academic excellence.
If selected, scholarship recipients may be awarded a partial to full tuition scholarship for the academic year. Scholarships may or may not be renewable from year to year, as they are dependent on financial availability. Marshall University reserves the right to reduce or rescind a scholarship or award if financial circumstances dictate, or if the student no longer meets eligibility requirements. Scholarships cannot not be deferred. The recipient(s) must use the scholarship and/or award for the term or year it is given. Please review your Marshall University email regularly for updates. For competitive scholarships, applicants will be notified by e-mail once a decision is rendered. Scholarship committee decisions are final and are not subject to appeal. Recipients may be required to submit a letter of acknowledgment to the donor and instructions will be sent to student’s campus email.
To apply for scholarships, you must be admitted to Marshall University.
